Chapter 8: The First Painful Death

  >8 Scissors 8< This part of the arena was different. It's marshy, reeds brushed past Scissors' feet as he carefully treaded through the wet ground. Shark walked ahead of him, holding the bow he'd manage to find in the Cornucopia. They only have three arrows. We have to use them wisely. No one was nearby. Scissors relaxed once they reached a bit of dry land in the middle. Ahead of them, the ground faded into a marshy lake. "It'll be perfect for fishing." Scissors remarked. "That's all you talk about these days." Scissors could hear the eyeroll in Shark's voice. Scissors was about to reply when something on the ground caught his eyes. Sharp sunlight glinted off of the equally sharp object. He attempted to pick it up, only to realize it tied to something much longer. "Come help me with this." He called to Shark. "Ugh. Okay." Chapter 7: Insignificant

  -={ Nelly }=- Despite the sunny sky, Jay Blossom felt oddly cold to Nelly. There was a strange thing about Lake Creative that just felt...not normal. The water in it is too blue. Perhaps it's reflecting the sky, although Nelly doubted that once she took a closer look. The Spectator Dome was made of stained glass, reflecting the sky as well as the clouds. It looked almost magical.  "I still can't believe we signed up for this," Nelly muttered as the group reached the redstone door. "It'll be alright." Her teammate, Enchanted, replied. All the lights were shut off inside the spectator dome. Everything felt quiet and empty. "Welcome! To the two hundred twenty-fourth annual simulation!" That voice was Cyclosword's, coming from the podium. Or at least, where Nelly thought the podium was. She really should have taken time to visit here before the simulation, but it's too late now.
